Welcome to The Annunciation, Marble Arch.

parish church of the annunciation marble arch exterior

As one of London's most famous churches,

the Church of the Annunciation has been a focal point of Anglican Catholic worship for nearly one hundred years and although, only a small parish, we attract regular worshippers from the London area, the suburbs and throughout the rest of the world.

We have a steadily growing congregation and an increase in the number of young families coming to church. During school term time, children over three are encouraged to join

the Sunday School during the Mass.

Located in Bryanston Street and close to Marble Arch (Central Line) Station and just behind the Cumberland Hotel, the church is used by many people who visit the heart of London’s West End.

Here, you should find an oasis of peace and prayerfulness, away from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street.

The Church of the Annunciation is a fine Edwardian Gothic style

building designed by Sir Walter Tapper, with many interesting features.

More detail can be found under History.

The marvellous acoustics of the building enhance the well established musical tradition.

For more pictures illustrating the fascinating features of this beautiful building, do take a look at the gallery.

Details of clergy and contact information may be found in About Us.

Click on Services for further information and Mass times.

A 22 page illustrated Guide about The Annunciation is available to buy at the Church, priced at £3.00. We can also post one to you upon receipt of a cheque for £3.50, made payable to "Church of The Annunciation" (address above) OR via the Paypal link below using your Debit/Credit Card.
