APPEAL MESSENGER 2
Bishop Michael has written the 2nd bulletin to bring us up to date with the Fundraising Appeal. The target is £50,000 and to date we have raised around £44,000, so with two upcoming events planned - the „Fashion Day” (see below) on Wednesday 22nd September and Bishop Michael?s Concert on the 21st October (dates for the diary). We feel we are within sight of our target. If you have not been given a copy of the bulletin please collect one at the welcome desk.

THIS IS OUR FAITH is an autumn course for those wishing to prepare for adult baptism and or confirmation which we will be running for the three churches: The Annunciation, St. Cyprian's and All Saints. The course is also suitable for those who would like a "refresher" If you are interested, please contact Fr. Alan or one of the other clergy.

CALLING ALL ‘FASHIONISTAS’: A fashion fund raiser is scheduled for Wednesday 22nd September, to coincide with London Fashion Week and the Portman Village Street Fair. We aim to source high-end clothing from various West End suppliers, and hold a sale at the Annunciation through out the day. The event will end with an auction in the evening for the most exclusive items. We're looking for a number of things: contributions of good condition designer cast-offs, volunteers to help with sales and tea/coffee service during the day and contributions of refreshments. It will take quite a few of us to stage the event, so everyone is welcome to help. Anyone interested can contact me via email: laurielaird@btinternet.com

VOLUNTEERS: If you volunteered to help in some way with the Sunday worship, please look at the desk near the entrance. You will see lists there for volunteers to sign against the dates when they will be free to help. Feel free to sign against as many dates as you like!
